Micro- and NanoManufacturing in EC Frame Work Programme 7: Brokerage and Information Event
Micro and nano manufacturing represents a strategically important area for the future competitiveness of European industry. European leadership in this key area will require effective co-operation of industry, research institutions and universities in the definition of pathways to commercialize emerging micro and nano technologies into established processes and products.
Proposals for innovative programmes in the field of micro and nano manufacturing will be sought through the EU Seventh Research Framework Programme 2007-2013 (FP7), first calls for which are to be published in January 2007. Information on micro and nano manufacturing within FP7 as well as activities within the MINAM Platform for Micro- and NanoManufacturing will be addressed by this meeting.
